26 Weeks

How far along? 26 Weeks
Total weight gain: 22 pounds.  At my 25 week appt I was measuring 31 weeks (in comparison to a single pregnancy)… yikes!
Maternity clothes?  Yes.. even though I don't have a whole lot of places to go that I need to get dressed for..
Stretch marks? Nope.  Although… I can’t exactly see my entire belly/body so I might need Brian to investigate.  I hope they stay away!!
Sleep: Blah.  I still get Braxton Hicks when laying on my sides.  My OB put me on Procardia so hopefully that helps!
Best moment this week:  Realizing that in 11 short weeks (or less if they decide to come earlier) we will get to hold these sweet girls.  My heart flutters every time I think about it.
Have you told family and friends? Yes
Miss Anything?  2 very special angels.
Movement: These girls are nuts.  I love watching my belly all day – it is very entertaining!  We have picked names for the girls but we were having a hard time deciding which one is which so we’ve been calling them Miss A and Miss B.  Pretty sure our feisty one “Miss A” will be Madison and our laid back one “Miss B” will be Miss Landry.
Food cravings: Sweets!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: 2 Girls!
Labor Signs: BH contractions.

Symptoms: Restlessness, backache, and a million trips to the bathroom.. daily.  All totally worth it!!
Belly Button in or out? Always out.. 
Wedding rings on or off? On.  I haven’t started to swell yet.  I’m sure it’s only a matter of time as I get further along and dealing with this TX heat!

Looking forward to: Some more pool time with friends.

25 Weeks

How far along? 25 Weeks
Total weight gain: 20 pounds
Maternity clothes? Yes. 
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Blah.

Best moment this week:  Brian put the cribs together.  The nursery is coming together. : )  I also got to relax in my parents’ pool for a few days.  I think the girls loved it!

Have you told family and friends? Yes
Miss Anything? Dr. Pepper & laying down comfortably.
Movement: Yes.. I think Miss A learned how to hula hoop this week!  Miss B is still pretty chill.

Food cravings: Sweets!

Have you started to show yet? I’m starting to look more like that candy apple that Brian has been talking about…

24 Weeks

How far along: 24 Weeks

Total weight gain: 19 pounds

Maternity clothes: Yep

Stretch marks: Nope.  Stay away!!

Sleep: Fine once I fall asleep.  Getting there is a different story.

Best moment this week: My work shower!  So much fun.  The girls are already spoiled rotten.  Also, getting to see the girls.  Both are measuring right on track!  Baby A is our little wild child and Baby B seems to be pretty mellow.  I'm sure she is fooling us!

Miss Anything? Beer

Movement: Yes! They love to dance and do the wiggle.

Food cravings: Nothing specific... just loving food.

Have you started to show yet? I look like I'm smuggling a beach ball.

Best moment this week:  Mom wheeling me around Hobby Lobby.  Always good for a laugh.

Best moment this week: Getting to see the girls kicking and poking each other at our ultrasound.

Miss Anything? Ignorance.  I don’t like feeling so nervous about this pregnancy.

21 Weeks

How far along? 21 Weeks
Total weight gain: 14 pounds
Maternity clothes? Yes.  Living on maternity tank tops & shorts.  It’s going to be a hot, hot summer!
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Not too bad but who knew that rolling over could be so complicated?

Best moment this week: The cribs came in over a month early! Went to Buy Buy Baby and loaded up the truck with 2 cribs and 2 car seats.  Fun fun!!

Miss Anything? Sleeping on my stomach
Movement: Lots.  I love staring at my belly and watching all of the wiggles & kicks!

Food cravings: What’s a girl gotta do to get a milkshake around here?

Best moment this week: Making it past 19w2d... There was a lot of anxiety and nervousness about this week and I am just happy to be past it.

Food cravings: Vanilla Crème Cake from the Tom Thumb bakery… random.

Have you started to show yet: Brian has been calling me his little Candy Apple because apparently I look like an apple on a stick.  Big ol’ belly and little stick legs.  Ha!  I guess that beats his “little pot belly pig” comment.
